Dear Friends,

“Change Your Life” is 2-5-12 at 10 a.m. from Genesis 3:12-20 where we find how to and how not to have a life “make-over” that goes all the way to eternity!  Lumberton Strings Orchestra at 3 p.m. here will play “Amazing Grace” and “The Prayer”…  Then Dave and Marlene Colburn will lead us in worship with violin and piano.  We do plan to take up an offering to help L.S.O. make their journey to Disneyworld next month.  See ya’ Sunday!

“Where Are You With God?” is this Sunday 1-29-12 at 10 a.m. from Genesis 3:6-11 where we  find help figuring out where we stand with God.    At 6:00 that night 5th Sunday Coffee House in the Fellowship Hall is where we’ll enjoy musical inspiration, as people bring a solo, a duet, instrumental, or some other musical offering to our Lord.  Refreshments will be served all throughout, so come on down!

Sure do appreciate our Deacons!  Sunday morning 1-15-12 at 10:00 we’ll look at II Kings 5:1-6 to get some handles on helping people.  That’s what Deacons do, and we plan to recognize our Deacons at that time.  That night at 6:00 we’ll continue our study of Ecclesiastes 1:2 – 2:6.  Hope you can come!

Christmas Eve at the Methodist Church here in town offers the Lord’s Supper Celebration 5:00 p.m. with their pastor Dr. Jodie Cothen at their location 410 W. 11th Avenue in Lumberton, Mississippi.  Christmas Day at First Baptist Lumberton we will meet only at 10 a.m. that day to celebrate the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ.  May you come and worship Him with us and have a very Merry Christmas!
