“Presents of Mom’s Presence” is this Sunday 5-13-12 at 10 a.m. when Genesis 3:20 gives us a Mother’s Day message to remember.  Baby Dedications will take place at this same time.  Then that night at 6:00 “Gold in the Fire” from I Peter 1:6-9 continues our study of I Peter where we find comfort in the Lord even when life hurts.  Hope you come!

“The Miracle of Forgiveness” is this Sunday 4-22-12 at 10 a.m. where Matthew 6:12 records Jesus’ teaching that the action of forgiveness is supernatural.  Then at 2 p.m. we meet at Little Black Creek Water Park ($1.50 admission) for our Wild Game Dinner where we’ll enjoy bear, turkey, deer, wild hog, fresh catfish, and more!  No evening activities at the church that night.  Hope you come!

“The Window of His Soul” is this Sunday 4-1-12 at 10 a.m. where John 21:24-25 points us to the sayings of Jesus on the cross, showing what is important to Him and how those same priorities and His presence can empower our lives today.  Community Resurrection Service is that night at 6:00 here at First Baptist where Lumberton churches will gather around God’s Word to celebrate His presence looking at “God’s ‘Can-Do’ Spirit” in Philippians 4:13.  After the gathering we’ll meet in our Fellowship Hall and enjoy finger food that all the churches are bringing.  God is good!
